Facebook has recently released its marketplace accessible to all its users. Until then, we were used to eBay, Amazon, leboncoin, etc. If you want to use the Facebook marketplace, or if you’re just curious to know what’s going on, read on. We explain how to install Facebook marketplace.
The Facebook marketplace is not a separate application. It is an integral part of the social network. So why are we talking about installing Facebook marketplace? Because it is not directly offered by Facebook, which was not the case at the time of its release. Indeed, when Facebook released its marketplace, there was an icon in the main menu bar, allowing direct access to it. Many users complained about this change, so Facebook changed the access path.
To make the icon reappear, you will have to show Facebook that you are using its marketplace . To do this, follow these steps:
- On your Facebook application, click on the menu icon at the bottom right of your screen. A list of social network features will appear in front of you, including the Marketplace tab: press it. (If you are on a computer, the Marketplace tab appears directly on the left side of the screen.
- You are now in the Facebook Marketplace. You’ll need to use it. Search for items, change the location, save ads, post ads, etc.
- Leave the marketplace, return to your news feed and refresh. Either the marketplace has settled or it still doesn’t appear. If it does, you will log out and then back into your Facebook account, and repeat the steps above.
